Wow, it's been more than a year since my last journal enrty! What happened since then? Well, since I last wrote, everything worked out pretty much fine. I'm pretty happy with my job and I've found pretty much what I want to do in the future. I got my pilot's licence and i've been flying around Scotland a lot! I've also started gliding, which is amazing! I now have lots of friends where I live. And I also decided to travel a bit, so I've been to California in a fairly crazy adventure. I'm also planning to go to Australia, Tasmania to be precise, to visit friends I met here last year. I stopped going offshore with work and I now work mainly in

I asked myself a couple of questions and it seems that I knew the answers. It's just that I was afraid to face them. And the only reason for that was that I believed I'd be left alone. I started doing all(most all) the things I wanted to do, without giving a booboo about who likes it or not. I also stopped doing all the things I was doing because other people liked them. Well, within reason as I still drive on the left :) And I started telling everyone what I like doing and what I don't like doing. So, I found myself hanging out with the right crowd for me. Oh, and I've got my flying test booked for the end of June! After that, my flying w

Feeling lost

0 min read
I feel lost. Completely lost. I don't know what to do, I don't know whether I should keep doing my job every day or just give up and do something else, I don't know whether I should stay where I live or leave and go somewhere else. I don't know whether I should 'go for it' or keep doign what I'm doing day by day. It feels like waiting to die...

Nice gallery! :)
have u played fsx yet?
Sure! It's awesome, but you need a pretty powerful machine to run it properly.

One thing that disappointed me with all the FS versions is the taildraggers. I'm doing my taildragger conversion just now and the real thing is FAR harder to land than it is on FS. You really have to work hard and fast on the rudder!

Nice helmet. I've got two HGU33/P, an HGU26/P and three SPH4B :) I'll try and get a pic.

I can't think of a more elaborate answer right now but generally because I like it... :)
Well hello everyone,

It seems that the sunset photos were indeed good, one of them was a 'favourite' 8 times! Thanks people, I wish you get to see many of those sunsets! And many sunrises too!

Actually, I'm wondering if the sunrises have different colours. Anybody knows? As an engineer (somebody stop him, he'll start talking non-sense) I'd think that the sunrise should be different because the air is cooler (because of the night that passed), its density is higher, the pressure is probably lower and therefore the way the light is affected by the atmosphere is different, probably resulting in different colours. Any ideas?

When the sunrise starts happening at a reasonable time in the day (I'm in the Far North and right now the sunrise is by about 03:00...), I might go out to experiment a bit.

Plans for this weekend; I'll try and patch up a mistake I made last weekend :stupid: and maybe take some photos of the sunrise in Aberdeen if I happen to be around the beach.

Anyway, watch this space and take it easy. But not too easy!
